How to create a product and send it to your channels
A single product or one with variants, what each marketplace needs, and what “Waiting for data – not sent yet” means.
A new product
- In the “Inventory” menu section, open “Products” and press “New product”.
- Choose “Single product” or “Product with variants – sizes, colors”.
- Fill in “Name”, “SKU” and “Price, EUR”. Without these fields Prekio does not save the product.
- Enter the EAN (barcode). If its check digit is wrong, Prekio shows this at once.
- Upload photos. The first photo becomes the main photo. To change the order, drag the photos.
- Write the description in Lithuanian. Prekio translates it automatically into the PHH and Allegro languages.
- Under “Package”, enter the weight and dimensions. Without them PHH does not accept the card.
- Tick a category. The first category you tick becomes the main category. Prekio chooses the marketplace categories from it.
A product with variants
The “Variants” part already has the attribute “Size”. Enter its values, for example S, M, L. If you need a color, press “+ Add attribute” and name it “Color”. The combinations appear by themselves.
In the “Combinations” table, each variant has its own SKU, EAN and stock. Prekio suggests the SKU, but you can change it. Untick the combinations you do not need. If all variants have the same stock or price, enter it in the “For all selected:” row and press “Apply”. All variants share the texts, photos and category.
Where will we sell
Tick the channels under “Where will we sell?”. Below, only the fields those channels need appear, for example the Allegro or PHH category. On the right, the “Marketplace readiness” card shows what each marketplace still needs. The “Fix” button takes you to the missing field.
Save the product with “Create product”. Prekio sends the product at once to the marketplaces for which it is ready.
“Waiting for data – not sent yet”
If a marketplace needs something more, Prekio saves the product but does not send it to that marketplace. On the product page you see the card “Waiting for data – not sent yet”. It lists the missing fields and has “Fix” buttons.
When you fill in the missing data, the product is sent automatically. Prekio checks it each time you save the product, and every hour. If you do not want to wait, press “Check and send now”.
An existing product
Open the “Channels” tab on the product page. The “What needs fixing” card shows what the marketplaces rejected and what is missing. The “Fix” button takes you to the place where you fix it. The “Where this product is sold” card shows the status and price on each channel.
For the shop, Shopify and Varle, you switch a product on or off on the channel page. In the “Marketplaces” row, press the name of the channel. Switch “Sell – …” and press “Save”.
Stock
The quickest way to change stock is the “Warehouse” page. Change the number in the “Stock” column. Prekio saves it automatically. Prekio records each change in the product history.
Prekio sends stock to the marketplaces and the shop every hour, and to Shopify every 5 minutes. When you save a product on its page, Prekio sends the stock and price to PHH and Allegro at once.
Many products at once
On the “Products” page, the “Import” button loads products from a CSV or Excel file. Required columns: sku, name, price_final.
If a supplier has an XML feed (in Google Merchant format), connect it on the “Integrations” page, on the “XML feeds” card. Prekio does not send imported products to marketplaces until you switch them on.
