01 Connecting

How do I connect Varle?

The system creates an XML feed link, and you enter it in the Varle seller panel. For orders, you enter your Varle API key in the settings.

  • The link carries a secret key, so nobody gets the feed without it
  • You can change the key at any time. Then you enter the new link in Varle, because the old one stops working straight away
  • You choose the date to import orders from

02 Product feed

What goes into the Varle XML feed?

Every product you have switched on for Varle: title, description, price and old price, stock, photos, category, barcode, attributes and delivery time. A product with variants goes as one product with its variants inside.

  • The feed is rebuilt every time Varle reads it, so the price and stock in it are current
  • A sold-out product stays in the feed with stock 0
  • Varle can keep its own title and price; everything else comes from the product
  • For each product you choose whether parcel locker delivery is allowed

03 Orders

How do orders arrive from Varle?

By themselves, every two hours through the Varle API, into the same list as your other channels. If you need them sooner, one button fetches them.

  • Goods are taken out of stock only for paid orders
  • A canceled order puts the goods back into stock, and one canceled straight away is not created
  • Buyer and company details, the parcel locker and the parcel number come with the order
  • Order lines are matched to your products by code or barcode

04 Downloads

How do I know Varle has read the feed?

Every time the feed is read, it is recorded in the history: when, how many products Varle got and where the request came from.

  • The integration page shows the last download and a feed summary: products, variants, in stock and sold out
  • The feed preview shows the first five products exactly as Varle receives them

05 Checks

What is checked when you tick Varle for a new product?

In the new product window, the system checks whether the product has everything Varle needs. Until anything missing is added, the product is saved but stays out of the feed.

  • Checked: title, price, description, photos, category and EAN
  • Once the gap is fixed, the product joins the feed by itself: the check runs again when you save it and every hour

What the system does not do with Varle

So you know in advance what Varle decides.

  • It does not send stock or prices to Varle: Varle takes them from the feed when it reads it
  • How often Varle reads the feed is up to Varle
  • It does not send order status, the parcel number or the invoice to Varle
  • It does not bring your existing Varle products into the system
  • There are no Varle category mappings: your own category is sent
  • It prepares no price suggestions for Varle
