01 Connecting

How do I connect a WooCommerce shop?

In the settings you enter your shop's address and its WooCommerce REST API keys (Consumer Key and Consumer Secret). A connection test button shows straight away whether they work.

  • Changed keys also apply to the automatic order download
  • A WordPress application password is optional: with it the system recognizes photos already in your shop and does not upload them again

02 Orders

How do orders arrive from WooCommerce?

By themselves, every 15 minutes, into the same list as your other channels. Each time, orders from the last two days are read again as well, so none slips through.

  • Unpaid, failed and draft orders are not imported
  • When fetching, the system does not create new orders older than 30 days or already canceled ones, unless you tick that you want them
  • A paid order takes goods out of stock, and a canceled or refunded one puts them back
  • Status never goes backwards: a shipped order does not become paid again

03 Back to the shop

Do order changes go back to the shop?

Yes. When you change an order's status, note or delivery address in the system, the change is sent to WooCommerce. Once you print the label, the order becomes completed in the shop and the tracking number is written onto the order.

  • The tracking number is written in the shop as a private note; it is not sent to the buyer automatically
  • A refund is marked in the shop by status only: the system does not return any money

04 Products

How do products reach the shop?

A saved product is sent to WooCommerce straight away: title, description, price with sale price, code, stock, weight, dimensions, categories and attributes. A product with variants becomes a variable product with variations.

  • An unchanged product is not sent again
  • Failed sends are retried every 30 minutes. A product the shop keeps rejecting is tried less and less often until you change it
  • Categories missing in the shop are created automatically
  • Photos the shop already has are not uploaded again

05 Stock

How is stock updated in the shop?

Stock goes with every product save, and stock changed by orders is sent every hour – only for products whose stock changed.

  • If a product was deleted in the shop, the system notices, and the next send creates it again

06 Errors

What happens when the shop rejects a product?

Before sending, the system checks that the product has a code, title and price, and that its variants have their own codes with no repeats. If the shop still rejects it, the error is explained in plain words and the next step is shown.

  • Products that were not sent are listed on the integration page, each with its reason
  • If a shop draft or a product in the bin is holding the product code, the code is freed automatically. The system never touches published products
  • If the shop groups variants differently from the system, one button rearranges the shop to match Prekio. The system asks first, and products in the way go to the bin: nothing is deleted for good

07 Linking

Already have products in the shop? They are linked

The system offers to link the shop's products to yours by EAN or code, or by title where those are missing. A variable product is linked to a product family, and its variations to the variants.

  • Linking sends nothing to the shop. The next send updates the same shop product with the system's data
  • The system does not create new products from the shop – it only links them to existing ones

Already have a WooCommerce shop? Connect it and link your products

Linking sends nothing to the shop. The system is ready within a few minutes.

What the system does not do with WooCommerce

So you know in advance what stays in the WordPress admin.

  • It does not bring new products from the shop into the system: it only links existing ones
  • There is no separate title and price for the shop: the product's own price and title are shown
  • It does not sync coupons, reviews or customer accounts
  • It does not refund money: a refund is marked in the shop by status only
  • A product switched off or deleted in the system stays in the shop
  • One shop can be connected
